Though I'm eager to get my hands on the more recent ("XP"/"25th Anniversary") editions of the game, this is a widely-recommended version of the system and still popular among Paranoia fans. I bought it mainly because the softcover, West End Games printing was coming apart: apparently a lot of the WEG-printed copies have a similar issue with the binding, and are often missing the handout and other "extra" materials needed to run the adventure bundled into the book.
The hardback is pretty durable, though of course since it's old, I'm treating it a bit delicately. It's a fun read, and I can see why so many people love the game... though, knowing what I know now, I might have just gone ahead and saved my pennies for a copy of the XP/SP1 or revised "formerly XP" hardback, or maybe a copy of the 25th Anniversary Troubleshooters book.
