Its very good product. Had to trim slightly on OD ridge to fit inside 110mm waste pipe in wall. But I knew that before buying. Its working really well, but wish it had been a bit cheaper. However, not complaining.

Good value back draught units to stop the cold air/breeze coming through a room extractor unit. Much better than the twin flap with springs type of back draught unit. These gravity operated flaps don’t need any springs & should last for a long time. Have to be careful how these units are positioned in the trunking to make sure the flap doesn’t catch on the trunking when in open position but are very easy to fit and very good value for money. A very simple piece of equipment that does exactly what is required. Works perfectly in a vertical position right behind a ceiling mounted fan which has an extraction rate of 73m^3/hr. Might work horizontally in fans with lower extraction rate, that would struggle to open the flap. What I don't get is why a bit of plastic worth less than 0.001 pence ends up costing so much when mass produced.

Easy to fit with plastic ties &/or heavy duty adhesive tape. The wind can be strong here but it stops the draught coming into the bathroom. And it saves money on my heating bill.

Better than the shutters mounted on teh back of fans as these tend to rely on little springs that eventually break. Standard flexible tubing fitted snugly to each side of the shutter - secured with stainless steel hose clips for a long term fix.
