A no frills lens that will give you many thrills, once you learn manual focus dominate the M-setting
For the price, it is a good lens, made with a formula that has been selling since the seventies. Solid metal lens. Add a metal lens hood a lens with cap, a t-mount for each of your cameras, a tele converter and a sturdy tripod and you are all set. This is fully manual, no auto focus, no auto diaphragm aperture control, no shake reduction, unless you own a Sony or Pentax with in body SR, for action photos you will have to learn to pre focus. Measures 12"/30CM in length, 17"/43CM with hood and 2X converter from cap to cap. Works with APSC and full frame cameras, I have seen it adapted to medium format cameras, but it will produce vignetting. It is an entry level lens for those who are not afraid of the M-setting and manual focus. The Opteka version is around 1.5 inches / 4cm shorter than the original version. It is not super sharp, but you can get that at several hundred dollars more.
