Outstanding...tried other branded polyester dyes previously which did not work. This brand turned a red garment purple with ease, great strong colour with no streams....excellent job

You need a large pot to put on stove and you need to keep it boiling it for it to work. Although you can use a washing machine it needs 95 ° boil wash unfortunately none of these worked for me.

Bought to dye three belts for my bridesmaids. Excellent colour and great quality dye. Smells a bit chemical during the dyeing process but the colour was really vibrant after just 30 minutes. Will buy again in future. Tip: use a big old saucepan... The one I used was a bit too small so the dye kept overflowing a bit.

Bit of a faff having to heat on the stove but dyed a fabric i was unsure of what the material was so went for the poly and nylon one - campervan curtains. only simmered for about 45mins but colour was good not 100% dark but i think if id left longer would have been. - then used the amount left in pan for some cotton napkins i had and only simmered for a short time - came out a lovely lilac. THEN used the rest by pouring it in the washing machine - added a bit of normal salt - with a cotton towel and throw and they came out a lovely lilac !

This dye is strong !. I dyed an orange, turquoise and white fluffy, acrylic scarf, fleece gloves, and a Uniglo Heat Tech Thermal top, PURPLE. Being an artist I am experienced at colour mixing so I had a good idea as to the effect the dye would have on the scarf.(The white parts purple, the turquoise a dark blue and the orange, a maroonish colour) It came out darker than I expected but maybe that was because the total weight of the items was less than the amount 1 pack is capable of. It made a horrible but cosy scarf wearable.! The gloves tuned a very vivid purple indeed and the pink top which I dyed last became a pleasant lilac. The dye uses lots and lots of time and water to rinse out and it has left a lingering, not unpleasant ,curiously cherry smell on the items even after machine washing. I would still recommend it for dyeing synthetics. Read full review
