I needed a replacement for my 13 year old 6230i which had developed a bad screen after maybe dropping 40 times onto roads and pavements , but I did not want a smart phone. This Nokia 6230i was delivered in 2 days and was well packed. The camera port is not as optically true as my original (2004) and the external headphone contacts show slight signs of use. Otherwise the phone and battery appeared to be new with no wear showing internally or to the casing .The internal date is 06-2007. The battery appears to be a genuine Nokia in the original packet with the hologram showing the Nokia 1,2,3 and 4 dots but made in China . However after 3 charge / discharge cycles it only allows about 18 hours operation on standby - so maybe a proper new one would be better. My old battery still gives about 45 hours (was around 168 hrs in 2004). The phone works fine with my Vodafone PAYG sim card, so overall this is real bargain if you just need a small simple robust phone for calls and texts.Read full review

I have an elderly dyslexic 83 year old mother who cannot use anything other than this phone.
