Best Fan for the Price
I should have ordered this first. I read and reread review on the best tower fans. This continued to come up top rated in several of the reviews. I purchased a Honeywell Quietset and it is good and I will keep it but it is not great. This fan is great! Pay attention to how tall a fan is. Tall does not mean all the length is fan. It could be just height. This fan has about 22 inches of spinning fan, the Honeywell has about 15 inches of spinning fan. (Airflow or blowing area) Both are quite. I like the fact this model 2554 has ionization feature. This looks and feels sturdy and nice. Now one of its best features is the louvered vents. This helps the air circulation to go up or down depending on where you want it to hit and the oscillation is at 90 degrees, perfect for a corner. I also own a Vordado 660 floor fan, it is great also but not for a small room and the reviews for the tower version were not great. This is a great fan in spite the design is a few years old. I recommend buying one. I expect years of use. This is my review after one day. Should something drastic change I will update.

Great fan - don't expect miracles and you will not be dissapointed
Easy to use. Remote is very convenient. Hard to say if the ionizer works, but the blue lights is on. Their web site has a blog area, but very little info on the "Fresh-Air Ionizer" built into many of their products. I would recommend their blog team to look into this. IMHO, ionizing is more for that "just started raining" feeling. It might be psychosomatic or a placebo effect, but so are nachos. Oscillation range is not large, but adequate. Very tall, so that is more important for coverage of both sitting and standing recipients. No filters, low maintenance - it's a fan and not an air cleaning device. Nice and quiet
I was so excited to unbox this and try it that I took a nap right after to see how it worked. I had been using a clunky and vibrating box fan before at night and I hated it. This looks nice with the faux wood panel and it doesn't take a lot of floor space. It puts out a lot of air and it does so quietly. All this combined with a good price is definitely worth getting. I upgraded, and slightly regret it
This model seems to be a newer one than what I had, but my original one was getting on in years, so for about $45, I decided to buy a new one, this one. It works exactly the same, a couple very minor design differences, but the main difference is that, this ones electric motor buzzes. Thankfully I cannot hear it from where I leave it every night, but if there's nothing blocking yourself from it, you can hear it buzz from 20 feet away, in front or behind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Space Saver with Wide Range Circulation
This is a great fan for keeping the air moving in otherwise stifled rooms and will help keep summer A/C costs down. The only assembly required is the base the fan sits on and it goes together in about 5 minutes. The fan has 3 speeds and provides a very calming, smooth white noise background. The fan at 42 inches circulates air at mid room height with an adjustable louver on the front to direct airflow up or down. The convenient remote control takes 2 AAA batteries and allows you to adjust fan speed, enable oscillating, turn the ionizer on and off or set a timer up to 7 hours. This is an exceptionally good value. The product was shipped in the original manufacturer's packaging and was not double packed. Quiet and powerful

a nice looking unit
