should be OK
the pictures were as sharp as I had hope for, but this lens is fine for general use. But if you are doing portrait and modeling shoots, and if your budget allows, you might want to look for another lens. I had my other less stolen, so this is what i have to use, until i save up...you still will get use out of this lens. i like it
