Fantastic for buildings and internal shots. Would be nice to have a faster F stop but for the price.

Lens came with both end caps, was in good condition and works like a dream. Produces great results, I am really really pleased with the purchase. The best bit was the final price which I did not expect to win.

This lens is one of the best around for UWA photography. The CA is very low, and distortion is easly removed on photoshop, since SIGMA worked out solutions with Adobe, in order to create profiles for Photoshop. The HSM engine is very fast, with a very precise focusing. Also the lens construction is solid, giving it a resistant and professional look. Well, now it's all about filters for this Babe! Cokin Z or Lee 100mm.
Every thing about this super wide angle lens says quality. It feels solid in the hand and both the zoom and focus rings operate smoothly. The image quality is excellent and at the widest end the f4 maximum aperture is more than fast enough. All things considered this is a great piece of kit which I can hardly fault. One thing to note with all super wide angle lenses is that a P series Cokin filter holder causes extreme vignetting and you will need to move up to the X pro series or buy screw on filters which at 77mm can be more expensive. Also the built in flash on my Canon EOS40D cannot cope with the extreme wide angle so a Flash attachment will be needed in low light situations.
