Power shower with thermostatically controlled flow.
As I was refurbishing my bathroom I considered replacing my walk in shower cubicle with a low profie bath, and shower screen. As the electric shower that was in this shower lacked pressure i decided to go for a pumped mixer type. I have always used, and trusted, Triton, so looked for a suitable one on ebay. This model AS2000X uses our hot water supply and cold water from the loft mounted header tank. It is a thermostatically controlled type, which means you can set the temperature and pressure, which is then maintained even if other taps are turned on somewhere else in the house. It was easy to install, with push fit couplers, and ample room to work inside the enclosure. It is a little noisy on start-up but quickly settles in with an excellent flow and constant pressure. Little bit noisy but lots of power
This is a really good shower for the money and it was perfect for my needs with the configuration of the inlets. This has great power with 14 litres per minute and the controls are really easy to use. If I had to put any bad points it is that it is quite noisy but my old power shower wasn’t exactly quiet so maybe it is just a downside of the power shower.
