I never rated Casio as a serious camera supplier. I decided a few months ago to try one by bidding on eBay looking for a bargain. After failing to win on at least 6 of them, I won one, the Z57, at a bargain price. It turned out to be a good buy. The features are good, the big screen makes it easy for old folks like me. After I mastered the use of Best Shot settings (it does take some time), both my wife & I loved it. Then I decided to go for a higher model and won this Z60. It is even better in terms of picture qualify with 6-7M pixels. Now we own a Casio each and enjoy the pleasure of taking photos any time we like. My conclusion is that if it was not for eBay, I would never have invested in a Casio digital canera because it is not cheap when new. Thanks eBay.
This camera was exactly what I needed for my 11 year old daughter. It's slim, light, easy to use, the battery lasts for ages and best of all, it didn't cost an arm and a leg - it really was exceptional value. The picture quality is slightly disappointing, but that wasn't really an issue on this occasion and my daughter is quite happy with it - it's good enough for her at this stage, but I can see that it might become an irritation in time. I decided to buy the Casio Exilim because I already owned one (although a different model) and was very happy with that. I can recommend this camera (for everyday snapshot type photos - not high-quality professional shots) and would definitely purchase one again.
I bought this very small compact camera in used condition off E-bay quite cheaply just to stick on a model aircraft. If the plane crashed and it broke, it didn't matter. I am amazed how good and accurate the colour reproduction and focus is and how versatile it is for a point and shoot camera. The dedicated LiPo battery gives sufficient shooting duration considering its size. Its ability to take video for up to 10 minutes per shoot depending on memory card capacity is very acceptable but I am unable to change the Zoom lens depth while taking footage. Besides that, very good for what it is, it fits into any pocket incl shirt pocket. Seven months have passed, its now November and the camera is still working fine despite suffering many heavy crashes, yes the screen is now scratched, case slightly dented but it still takes excellent photo's. February 2012 and this little camera is still working fine despite the base which it was mounted onto under the helicopter being completely demolished. Sadly the camera is more scratched but photo quality and focussing ability is still very good.Read full review
I had an old nice Casio digital camera which, after three years, still worked properly. Unfortunately has been stolen and I looked for an other Casio camera but I didn't want spend too much: I'm so happy because in few days I could get an exellent item! It's not brand new, it's refurbished but even you can't notice that! No scratches at all on the screen or on the rest, it works properly, and it let you take stunning pictures! The camera comes with all brand new accessories and it's guarrantied for one year.
