This Olympus 35 EC2 provides collectors with all the old-school charms of film photography. This Olympus 35 mm camera winds its film "backwards" unlike most film cameras. Instead of loading the film from left to right, this rangefinder camera loads film from right to left. This is an important thing to remember when advancing the film. A thumb wheel moves the film forward in this Olympus 35 EC2 instead of an automated system. A "rewind" lever is also located on the bottom of this Olympus 35 mm camera for rewinding completed rolls. Although this rangefinder camera offers no manual controls for its shutter or aperture settings, it can take longer exposures of up to 4 seconds. This camera uses a 42 mm Zuiko f2.8 lens, and can make use of an optional external flash. The film size is quirky at 24 x 32 mm, and its two PX640 batteries may be difficult to find. All in all, this Olympus 35 EC2 is a stylish, well-built camera for film enthusiasts.
