Fascinating insight into the worlds greatest test pilot. Easy reading "Winkle" has had the most amazing flying life . A RN pilot who flow over 50 enemy aircraft and over 400 types (not marks) in all. Too full of his own importance. A quite interesting read if only for the number and type of aircraft the the Germans were developing even at the end of the war. An incite into how the civil aviation industry, and the American space program, owes so much to the German wartime designers and innovators.
