Takashi Miike's first big budget movie is as astounding as it is ambitious. The Director of such cult horror's "Audition" "Three Extremes" & "Imprint", "13 Assassins" is a spectacle to behold in Violence, Honor & Scope. I thoroughly recommend the highest video quality possible as this film is very bright as it is dark, making lighting incredibly crisp in blu ray format. also mention that this film is in English subtitles, no idea if an English dub exists and personally would be undesirable anyway. This Movie is for fans of the directors work, or the curious to see how well executed more and more foreign films are now rivaling Hollywood 9.5/10
