    Welsh Detective TV Series

    Set in Wales, this detective is involved with murders, his teenage daughter growing up and his own love life to boot. Although I enjoyed it, I felt by the last DVD it was running out of steam, which was a shame as they had the material there to make it as good as the first series.

    An excellent series in a comprehensive box set.

    A fascinating series which covered an enormous time span on British TV. Philip Madoc is excellent and the supporting cast are superb. The plots are not always the most complicated to figure out but the performances make it worth sticking with. This predecessor to work such as Hinterland shows how good Welsh/Wales-based drama has been for a long time.
