Life on Mars
Rock Hudson stars in this mini-series from 1980 and carries the whole story across the 3 episodes. Akthough Episode 2 does drag a bit it has the best finale leading into the final episode. Classic sci fi
What a blast from the past! You need to look past the dated special effects and just enjoy the story. Actually quite a good story (I think it made a better book) but don't expect current standards effects. Suitable for youngsters and people like me who are old enough to remember it the first time round. Basically a mini series comprising of 3 episodes...each one as long as a film. Old school Sci Fi on Mars.
Absolutely love the "Martian Chronicles",have done since I first saw it as a kid back in the early 1980's . The special effects are not brilliant, infact some of them are terrible, but that's not important. It's the story (Thank you Ray Bradbury) and the pace of filming combine that make a memorable and unforgettable film experience. Also the music is amazing. Long lost classic
