Product Information

When Hideki moves from Hokkaido to Tokyo to attend college, he quickly finds that big city life is much different than he imagined. The widespread use of Persocoms (personal computers designed to look and act like animals or humans) especially astounds him and makes him feel slightly inferior since he cannot afford one. However, when he finds a discarded Persocom in the trash, Hideki sets about fixing it up only to find that she can somehow operate it without mending the software, forcing Hideki to wonder if the Persocom is, in fact, real. CHOBITS explores everything from romance to kidnapping and murder, but always comes back to the central relationship between Hideki and his Persocom named Chi. The series is presented here in its entirety.

Funny, romantic and yet has a deep plot as well. Best anime I have seen thus far.

Good anime, best enjoyed by boxset
Box is a little battered, but for the price, it's really good. The show is insightful and funny - I picked up the first dvd at a second hand store, and was so hooked I had to order this. (didn't want to downgrade from beautiful, add free dvd to streaming.)
