I do hope they release a nice boxset of this film like they did the DVD. This 2 disc Blu-ray set does have all the bonus from that boxset. I thought this film was amazing and that the sound was awesome before it came to Bluray. Having now seen it on Blu-ray the DVD doesn't come close. There is so much more colour in the picture than before (this could be to do with my new home cinema set up over my old set up and having a screen twice the size) but it still keeps that washed out look in places that I liked on the DVD. There's much more detail and depth to the picture. So it really benifits from the 1080p transfer. The sound as I said is awesome on the DVD but on Blu-ray it really blew me away. Sounds a steared (placed) much better in the surround field. For instance the fight scene between Mellish and the German wasn't just behind me when the camera was looking down the stairs at Upham but also above me too, really giving the sence of spacial awareness and that they were fighting upstairs which is how I believe it should be. All in all one of my favourit movies just got a whole lot better. Can't wait to watch it again. My gear I have if you're interested is a Pioneer LX71 Blu-Ray player, Pioneer SC-LX73 AV reciever and a 50" Pioneer LX5090 Kuro TV EnjoyRead full review
