Good story and characters
This version of V is different from the 1980's version, not a continuation, its almost like an alternative timeline where the 1980's V version never existed. The usual themes are there of reptiles masquerading as humans, the new angle is the V sent sleeper cells to embed into society before they arrived. The media is portrayed as more interested in career advancement then providing information. The embedded V have turned against their colleagues as they have lived on earth and no longer connected to Anna's bliss or mind control. The hybrid baby theme is part of this story as it was in the 1980's version. The special effects are better now as technology has moved on. It was a new take on V.

Lightweight with great features
It is an engaging story about the encounter of the humans with reptilian humonoids. Interesting to watch these days as there is a theory about some of the current world leaders were reptilians! It is known as the reptilian conspiracy theory by David Iche. The film is about deception and love across species and changing loyalties. Good, light-hearted fun.
