It comprises of a extruded aluminium straight edge plus a Logan cutting head. Its edge has a lip onto which the cutting head hooks on to. The cutting head itself is marked so that the user can start and stop their cuts with no over cut.

A useful tool but overpriced.
Once you have practiced a few times, it works quite well, but you really have to concentrate to get the bevel the right way around. Also make sure your cut goes through the mounting board on the first attempt, or end up with a ragged finish. The product is overpriced for what it is.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Design good, functionality not so good.
Whilst the design is basically good both the craft knife and the bevel edge cutter doesn't permit the blade to be extended down to cut through mounting card. On bevel edge I found it impossible to cut through the card and gave up and on the craft knife I had to cut on the reverse side as I had to press down so hard to allow the blade to penetrate the card it left a mark. There was no possibility with the design to extend the blade deeper into the mounting card. Given three blades with the pack, I managed to chip the corner off of 2 whilst cutting two mount whilst using a craft cutting board.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
