The Canon Speedlite 320EX is an external shoe mount flash, sturdy enough to stand on its own and light enough to mount on a camera, measuring 2.8 inches (71.1 mm) wide, 4.5 inches (114.3 mm) high, and 3.1 inches (78.7 mm) deep, and weighing 9.7 oz (274 g). The Canon 320EX has a guide number of 32 and a lens coverage of 24 mm - 50 mm. The small, additional LED light fixed to the front of the Canon Speedlite 320EX is especially useful for illuminating nearby subjects in dim lighting. The Canon 320EX shoe mount flash head can be positioned six different ways due to its vertical and horizontal bounce capabilities, meaning that photographers can find creative new lighting situations by "bouncing" the light off walls, ceilings, mirrors, and other surfaces. A flash release function wirelessly triggers the camera to avoid motion blur from manually adjusting the flash, and this feature can be set at a 2 second delay to ensure quality shots. The Canon Speedlite 320EX has an auto shut-off feature, and can operate for up to 4 hours on four fully charged AA batteries.

Great little flash
I am so impressed. Got it out of curiosity,and love it. It is now an essensial when I pack. I use a bounce card for 'just a lick of light'. It power is being subtle. I use 580EXII's & Nissin Di866II's, but always pack only one flash. The result always look amazing. I got a cheap diffuser (clear sto-fen) and modified it to optimize the light bouncing of a 6-inch white card. It's very effective. That way, the light does not look man-made. A larger flash, toned down, cannot match it. Try it.
