Nice bulb but doesn't give the improvement I was hoping for
Bought these for my motorcycle as the standard 60/55w illuminated the road very poorly on dip beam. I was expecting a big difference in brightness but was sadly disappointed. Whereas the old bulb had a yellowish cast this new one has what can only be described as a very "thin" bluish hue which seems to be absorbed by the road surface and, if anything, provides even poorer illumination than the standard bulb. I therefore still need a bulb which is brighter without going to 100w which will put undue strain on the charging circuit (and, I believe, would be illegal for road use anyway).
