This reel is simple to install as everything is provided. It pulls out very easily and is a dream to rewind as the 'screw' mechanism evens out the winding onto the reel. In short it does what it says on the tin! Yes there are cheaper brands out there but in this case you do get what you paid for. Highly recommended.

Over the last few years I have purchased a few of the lightweight expandable hoses. They are so easy to use and give a promise that they are heavy duty, but in reality, are only functional for a very short portion before they burst. I had the earliest ones replaced easily, but the last one required me to return it to China at my expense! I thought I was dealing with a UK company, so there was no way I was going to attempt to post 150 ft of hose and attachments overseas. I bought this rather than the auto wind version which I have heard can be troublesome when the spring snaps or gets weak. I like the way the mechanism guides the hose so it is wound efficiently. Pulling the hose out and winding it back in are now not a chore. I hope it will last at least till I am no longer capable of using it myself.
