A bought this flash because it is the same size as the Pentax AF200T TTL flash unit. While I haven't used it extensively, I know I don't like its specifications. For example, in order to use it with in program or aperature priority mode and ASA 200 speed film, aperature 5.6 is automatically decided, or recommended. That's the same recommendation on the Pentax AF160SA flash unit. I expected a recommendation of F8, as is the case with the Pentax AF200T. Other than that observation, the flash unit accepts the wide angle and telephoto adapters the at the AF200T and AF280T accept, which is great.
This is a great flash that is well made, lightweight, and does just what it's supposed to do. It's meant to be a very simple auto flash... use it with a program-capable Pentax camera such as the Super Program along with an A-series lens - set the lens to A and the camera to auto mode, and the with the flash turned on and charged, the aperture will be set automatically based on your set film speed. If you use this flash with a non-program camera such as the ME Super, you will just need to set the aperture manually according to the instructions in the user manual (for example with ASA 200 film, use f/5.6. Sadly, the other reviewer gave this flash only 3 stars because they thought it should have different features - but the flash works exactly as designed and do so very well.
