Flies - be gone!!
This time of year is horrid for my donkeys and ponies - the Shetlands have got long, thick forelocks so grow their own fly deterrent in a way, but the poor donkeys have no such help, and the flies are driving them mad - dozens of them, scores even, all over their faces and in their eyes. My friend tried this product on her horse and had good results, so I thought I'd give it a whirl! It's easy to apply, you just wipe it over the area in question, and being a cream and not an aerosol, the animals were happy enough to have it done. It's quite thick and 'gummy', and if not rubbed in well, does leave a thick, white creamy residue. I think I possibly applied too much, so their coat is still greasy two days later, however the benefit of this is that they're still getting relief from fly invasions a couple of days later, without me applying more product! I'm quite impressed with the results, will continue using it whilst there's still the bothersome, blasted flies about, and am happy to recommend it to others!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
