An excellent camera!
The continuing development of mobile phones overshadows digital compact cameras which are virtually extinct nowadays. However some of the facilities and the larger sensor size of such compact cameras makes picture quality a more subjective matter. This particular camera and the TZ series in general are very good quality and should be considered when buying a separate digital camera. Ideal for learning about photography and an absolute bargain, especially when considering how much they cost when new!

Does what it says on the tin!
Bought to replace the same model which had died of old age. I tried a higher spec model but it was too complicated for me, so back to old faithful. So easy to use and picture quality is great, love having my old camera back. Nice case and lots of accessories included with product which had been well looked after.

I'm not really into photography. Years ago I asked a professional photographer if he could name me a good starter camera and he unequivocally came up with the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ65 10.3 MP Digital Camera. I bought one and used it for about four years. I found it very easy to use and the quality of the photos/videos was great. Unfortunately the screen broke when I dropped it. So I've now bought another and have just used it on a tall ship trip. Now have great photo and video memories of my trip.
