Fiddly.
I bought this to replace a wake-up light that was getting a little long in the tooth. The majority of the features are quite excellent and do give you a choice on how to use this but I do find that some of the function controls could have been better set out. One method might have been to make some of the buttons tactile to the touch or, a remote with just the basic functions on would have turned this from a good piece of kit to excellent. All said, even in its present form I would definitely buy another as it does what it's supposed to do.
