Great Little SatNav for basic+ guidance
I bought this almost 2 years ago and it's still my main unit to get from A to B. The directions are excellent and clear, the lane guidance perfect. When matched with the directions on the road, you will never get lost. Two things i wish i had, live traffic redirection (could buy it separately but it's not completely live) and Roadworks Alerts and redirection. Stopped working after 2 days

A much improved product.

Portable and easy to use
The TomTom Start 20 is a great little SatNav. You can enter post codes, house numbers, etc. and drive straight from door to door, also on arrival the system turns itself off. With the 4.3 in screen you can easily put it in your pocket or a bag, while still being large enough to see directions. There is a build on suction cup that makes the unit easy to fix onto the windscreen and then remove, a charging usb cable and usb in car adaptor for charging the unit as you use it. There are several voices to choose from and more that you can buy from the official TomTom site. Default volume is set at 70%. Mine came with lifetime maps. I installed the software from the TomTom site onto my computer and followed the instructions to download the updated maps onto the unit, which was relatively simple. Before buying this I was using my mobile phone's SatNav and while good in itself my phone's chip tended to heat up quite a bit and even with my phone's in car charger was still draining my battery. Not so with the TomTom. Summing up and to be honest I can only compare this to my mobile phone's SatNav but, I can say that I have always reached my destination.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
