Lightweight and small, but very capable
This is not a big or heavy lens, it is a comfortable very easy to use and very capable- aimed at the DX Nikon but will fit onto a FX, but will show inside when viewed a frame which the image will be taken at Not the whole of the image only whats in the frame.. for DX the image is full and not trimmed by the frame. Picture wise- has you would expect from Tamron- the quality is very good from the 10mm to 24mm zoom, the build quality is excellent, and it is solid and reliable. If you don't mind using the small crop frame when using it to an FX camera - it is a very good lens, and I am glad it is part of my key lenses. Would I recommend it ? I would indeed, however usual consideration must be taken, dust free lens, check not been dropped or damaged, contacts etc, and no scratches to the glass front or rear.

I am really pleased with this Lens, it was a choice between the Sigma 10-20mm and the Tamron. I am glad that I went for the Tamron, it has given me some quality images at both ends of the scale. I highly recommend this product.
