    Must have this book for any polio survivors, or friends/family of polio survivors.

    Dr. Richard Bruno (author) is the one remaining expert on polio/post polio sequalae, left on earth, as far as I know. He wrote the definition for post polio sequalae that Social Security uses. I can not recommend this book strongly enough.

    A must for those dealing with post-polio as a survivor or caretaker

    My husband had all three kinds of polio in 1954. Fortunately, he survived and has lived a very productive life. A friend told us about this book 20 years ago and it has helped us understand the disease and its effects. It also helped me understand his childhood. I realized recently that our children don't have this background knowledge, so I bought a book for each of them to help them understand their dad's past and future.
