Main issue being the fact it only as a 1metre lead on it hence if you have your tank more than this away from the floor or socket position it means you need a trailing lead just outside your tank where water is liable to spill out right on this. Needs to be at bare minimum 1.5m lead. Also the pump is quite noisey at times when it tends to touch the sides of the tank from vibration. Easy to set up although instructions in English don’t cover this. Mine made a rattle but after contacting seller this was cured by reinserting the impeller. I like the flow control as I’m using it in a fry tank so I can increase flow as they grow. Very quiet operation and I’m using the spray bar which aerates too. Cheap but effective filter pump
I bought this to replace my previous bulky filter pump and couldn't believe the size of it when I first received the item and was a bit dubious as to whether it will perform the way it was claimed. Assembly was very easy. The moment I switched it on when the whole device was submerged in the water, it was very quiet (much quieter than my previous pump) and yet the jet of water that came out of the nostril was quite impressive. The only drawback I think is the extension L shape tube, when attached to the nostril, the water just came out at the end rather than out of the series of holes in between , like a shower effect, which I would prefer.
