I bought the Miranda Pro Video 1 tripod for a medium size digital video camera. The like and dislike about the product are the same issue the quick release mechanism is very easy to use but is also easy it catch and cause ones camera to crash in to the ground. it is a good tripod but should never be mistaken for a heavy weight tripod.
All ok does the job 👍👍 Would help if fixing plate came off

You can spend a fortune on a big massive tripod. This is not one of them. I wanted a smaller lighter tripod to complement the Goliath I already use. The Miranda Pro-Video1 is a bit on the light side so dont expect it to be rock solid. I use it with a remote camera release when taking telephoto and its perfect. Dont splay the legs out to full width because you will see them begin to bend if you press down but at three-quarters spread and held down at the top with one hand and the other on the shutter it works OK even without a remote release. No fluid head but pan and tilt when doing video was good, no judder or creaking. The quick remove top is nice and positive too. The price I paid was very good value but its no Manfrotti so just work within its capabilities and it will be fine. Five stars all round.Read full review
