Great value in a Head Unit
I already had installed one of these exact same model, so I knew what I would be getting if all was functional. The Clarion NX501 includes a Garmin Maps system, but needs the GPS module and the micro-SD card for that to function. The unit includes HD Radio Tuner, USB, Bluetooth (and phone connectivity), CD, Rear backup camera, 2 Aux plugins, and 1 or 2 more Video plugins. It DOES NEED THE FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTALLED, which is rather easy to do with a spare SD card. My only gripe was the cable diagram, which had the Power cable and Memory cable labeled backward. No harm came to the unit wiring it that way, however. I replaced a Pioneer AVH3600, which had better quality audio in my opinion, but did not include mapping and the Pioneer failed within 4 months of install.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
