This tripod is not to be mistaken for an expensive pro piece of kit, but it is, a great light and compact tripod to strap to your camera bag/backpack, when you are venturing up on the hills, i think it is great value for money, my pro tripod cost several times the price of this little fella and although carbon fibre is far too big and bulky for me to trek all day, my camera is a Fuji XT1, that is quite small compared to some of the big-boy DSLR's so is perfect for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Although the tripod is very light and compact to carry around I was not filled with confidence about the stability. Due to the light weight construction I feel it would have benefited from having a hook to hang a bag on or supports to lock the legs in place reducing the chance of tipping over. The cost of replacing my new camera far outweighed the risk of it tipping over. Sold and will replace with a sturdier tripod.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

fantastic compact tripod
I enjoy a bit of amateur photography but only on a very basic level, when i was searching the web for a entry-level tripod, many forums say to save up a little bit more and get a stand of around £100 mark for a good quality item. Originally £90, to see this for £57 - bargain - with free next day delivery. Its a fantastic tripod, really sturdy. the mechanisms are very smooth - extending the legs. The 3-way head is great, again smooth to use, and folds in a way such that it is as compact as possible when not in use. At the moment i only have a compact digital camera - and the mechanism for mounting the camera onto the tripod head is very easy. I like the fact the mounting bracket the camera screws too removes completely. The bracket mounts solidly on the the tripod head, with no wobble or play in the mechanism. extremely please with this product given the price i paid for it brand new unopened.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
