Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Light Stands & Booms
Tried a few heads, speedlight, brollies, softbox and all very satisfactory. It's not built like a pro tripod but given what you'll be putting on it it does not have to be. Lightweight, rigid and nice and stable. Much more stable than it looks in fact. Plenty of height for down-tilted shoot-through modifiers. Outdoors, in windy conditions you'd want to use sandbags against the feet. But conditions which would trouble it will knock the hell out of your brollies and softboxes anyway. Best to find a sheltered spot, or reschedule! I'd describe this stand as Good Enough+. Indoor and outdoor portrait work, and product shots are surely where 99% are going to be deployed so one hardly needs metalwork built to survive a warzone. If you want to suspend stuff on long booms etc wou'll need a great big studio beast on wheels which is far from portable or a rival device. No shining chrome to create unexpected highlighs, and the spigot +1/4" stud is versatile. I like the functionality you get for the cash.Read full review

I have now purchased 6 of these stands, whilst they are not the most rugged and I would be prepared to pay a little more if they were a little more substantial I have to say they are excellent value for money. I purchased them to use as tall straight microphone stands to carry a single or possibly a stereo pair so their weight loading is well within specification, now all I need to do is find some neat sand bags to increase their stability. Totally recommend the units as a good alternative to items costing many times the price.

Ive paid on 24th of November and on next day my products was already delivered to my home address, quickest turnaround time I ever seen. They are good quality but it really feels cheap,I bought them for speedlites so it shouldn't be a problem for me,i don't know about studio lights, packed really-really well.

I bought the tripod to carry a battery powered site light. When the tripod was extended above 2 metres it flexed so much it only lit up the sky. Can't see it staying rigid enough to hold any weight at full extension.

Exactly as advertised, using with a 360 degre camera the footprint it leaves is not distracting.
