Have finally received a Canon FD to Canon EOS adaptor. Canon FD lenses are difficult to fit to EOS due to their short lens to film distance so either you don't get infinity focus with a no-lens adaptor or you get the rare Canon adaptor with an extra lens. For macro use this is not a problem and for digitising slides on a full-frame camera I don't need infinity focus. My old Minolta dual scan film scanner with 1000 pixels/inch doesn't have the resolution to get everything off the slides. I'll add some comparative photos later if that's possible.

Extremelly detailed and with the life size adapter you get extrelly close images. The only con is the low light lens that gets worst with life size adapter. You need to have light to take the most advantage of it. I've not tried, but probably with a ring flash the thing gets better. But I'me very happy to works with digital EOS cameras.
Light, compact, solid build, excellent glass. Convinient to carry in a pocket. Unbeateble in the class. Works fine no matter of its age. Thats' Canon!
