I was surprised at the quality of this product. I had expected a reconditioned model with scratches and other signs of pre-use but in actual fact it looked like new. It has everything I wanted at a very good price. I placed the order on line and it appeared on my doorstep at the speed of light. Highly delighted with the product.

Lovely little entertainment device. I have loaded the Kindle, the Financial Times app, and just spent two hours overhauling my wardrobe on it in bed with a cup of tea. I've watched episodes of House on it in an airplane. I've used a Yoga app for excercise. It's so wonderfully portable and boots up so quickly, with iCloud providing data security. I can't say whether I don't own a Samsung Galaxy tablet or smart phone so the iPad fills a hole in my life. Drawbacks include lack of Adobe Flash, the fact that music & videos have to be sync'ed via iTunes (major hassle which means I still own a separate MP3 player), the poor format for reading emails (only about 6-8 messages fit in one drop-down screen, the main reason for giving only three stars for 'features'). There is no insertion point for a usb stick -i.e. you can't use a 3G dongle, but you can use a wifi hotspot created via an app on a smartphone, so you don't have to buy the 3G version if you already own a smartphone. I'm only two months into using it, haven't even properly begun to explore the app world. For "real work" and lengthier emails, you need a PC or Mac - recall that the iPad has only 1GB of RAM - this is why at £430 I have only given it three stars for value for money.Read full review
Having 'hummed and hawed' for a long time I finally gave in to desire and bought this smart little tablet. For long journeys it is brilliant to relieve boredom, but also is handy when relaxing at home and if one would simply wish to have a quick browse on the internet. Perhaps a small blemish is the fact that it is not suitable for flash media which can be a bit of a pain, but by and large the positives way outnumber any negatives. In terms of market competition I am yet to use any other tablet so cannot make a base for any comparisons, but the iPad 2 is ridiculously easy to use and is on the whole a fantastic bit of kit. Would very much recommend one
Apple was my introduction to computing back in the mid 90's and i have always been impressed by the superiority of their products as well as it being user friendly but was swayed over to windows pc by cost and availability of software and of hardware. After purchasing this ipad 2 I was not disappointed by it's performance and elegance and as expected the ease of use. the iPad was fairly easy to set up. The hard drive capacity limitation takes a bit of getting used to as it cannot be expanded but this is all I could afford and also the software prices and selection are not as good as for windows or android. Transferring data or music/movies is also a little more complicated compared to other products Overall I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets going back to Apple but they do have you by the b***s once your in.Read full review
