    As I understand, Hotpoint uses the same parts for many different models of washing machine- well done Hotpoint! Only grievance is I wish you can buy just the little plastic hook rather than entire door handle and save on plastic. Other than that - ace

    So pleased

    Crap

    very disappointed but then it is a third of the real spare part from Hotpoint . The catch is plastic so it will not last long and it made of the type of plastic the breaks easily. The only thing that was good was the spring so just used the spring and binned the rest

    Replacment pattern door handle

    I only needed the spring and pin so stripped and fitted these to the original handle and latch. The latch on this unit is plastic whilst the genuine latch is metal. Also the original handle is much better plastic quality

    Exactly the same as the original (except not broken). Very cheap and delivered very fast. Fitted in around 5 minutes with one phillips screwdriver. I've no doubts this part will serve another fifteen years.
