The standard Suzuki DRZ400 brake pad pins have a recessed shallow headed Allen fixing covered by a very small slotted cover plug which is difficult to get out even when new. After a couple of years these often need the attention of an impact driver or chisel. The replacement pin is stainless steel so it will never corrode and has an extended body with a 10mm hex head for easy pad change even on the side of a trail. The pin is well machined with a smooth pin and the threads are perfect. I would suggest an anti seize lubricant such as coppaslip on the thread as this will help to prevent dissimilar metal corrosion on the alloy threads of the brake calipers. This product is not only the cheapest out of any of the other brake pins and i highly recommend it to anyone with these bikes.
These are great replacements pins. Bought a set of front pins and another set for the rear of my 1996 Africa Twin. They make removing the pins so much easier.
