The title is the same as book storyline comes from
I have the Lon Chaney version. The Claude Rains, Phantom of the opera at the Royal Albert Hall plus the film version, Having seen the show at Her Magesty"s six times I know the story well but this version of the disfigurement was interesting.
A really enjoyable version overall, great casting and the visuals are excellent which you'd expect from a Hammer film. Not so much a horror film as you're generally on the Phantom's side throughout but an enjoyable thriller nonetheless
