Lightweight, perfect for me.
It is a good size, without weighing a ton .Mixing colours is dead easy, plenty of room to really experiment to your hearts content and end up with some gorgeous colours. It is very good quality and will last a really long time. I cannot think of anything negative to say about it. Another Bob Ross legacy!
Bob Ross designed some great painter's aids: brushes, easels, paints, etc. The palette he used in his TV shows was unique: thick clear plastic and very large surface area as he used thick paints in fairly large quantities. Right size and shape
I had been looking for a palette large enough to permit some decent on palette mixing and this is it. If you're looking for a palette to hold whilst painting (as opposed to having more than one smaller palettes on nearby table/tables) then this is certainly a good choice.
