Great Battery - fixed it right up!

iPod Battery Replacement - Beware!
The product came on time and as advertised. As many have said, the tools are practically worthless since the plastic will break or edges of the iPod (especially the Classic) will cut the ends off the pry tools as you use them. I used surgical knifes/Exacto knives (3 is best) very carefully without damaging the iPod but making the process much easier than the worthless plastic tools. PLEASE NOTE: when removing the plug for the battery, be very careful to lift the plug only slightly, THEN pull the ribbon from the plug. THE PLUG ITSELF DOES NOT GET REMOVED! All of the instructions and videos I watched were either vague or did not make a big deal of this. It is a BIG deal, since I ruined my iPod by removing the plug...it wasn't difficult to do so beware! Therefore, I cannot give you a review of the battery itself since I rendered it useless by ruining the connection for the battery. Now I have a worthless iPod! :(Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hard to find
I have a 120 GB Classic Ipod. I ordered batteries from 2 different companies (Not eBay) and had to return both because the battery was too thick to close the iPod after installation. They claimed to fit my model but did not. This battery was thin like the original. Fit perfect, took a charge and is holding charge now. Don't know how long it will last but I'm happy right now. Price was cheaper than others and delivery was less than a week at no charge. Ps. Yes it is difficult to open a Classic to replace the battery. You just have to be slow and careful. Great battery, safe, and powerful for the price!
