Cheap as chips
Less than half the cost of HP5, that’s why I sometimes use it. Scans easily with no Newton’s Rings. The emulsion is a bit more fragile than Ilford so extra care needed when loaded dark slides. OK at ei400, better at 200. Nice traditional grain structure. I save the expensive HP5 for valuable shots, or when I need to push 3 stops.

More like ISO 250!
More contrast than I was expecting, appears to be red sensitive, and my batch is definitely not iso 400 more like 250. Good value, well worth trying.
