Defective product!
The door panel is manufactured incorrectly as all 5 doors open upside down making it difficult for my children to access their pets and easy to accidently forget to securely latch the doors. Its over priced for a defective product. Not only are the doors upside down but it means they are positioned wrong and there is no door at the bottom. Had the doors been correct, apart from being fiddly to assemble, it would be a satisfactory cage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nightmare to assemble
Really pleased with the cage, but it is a nightmare to assemble. I would not recommend this cage for anyone who has any difficulty in self-assembly. We bought this cage for our grandchildren’s rats who kept biting their way out of their plastic-based cage. My husband is usually expert at self-assembly, but this was truly awful. The instructions are pretty useless with just pictures which are difficult to see clearly. We had to unassemble the cage a few times and in the end discarded the instructions completely. After at least 2 1/2 hours we completed it, but it is a sturdy cage which the children (and the rats) love. The cage is completely metal with a removable tray for easy cleaning. Our only cage design complaint are the cage doors, but they work ok.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absolutely rubbish
Awful I brought this to save on litter But found rats then peed on plastic levels it’s awful to clean too pegs were missing to connect levels I would recommend paying slightly more for a cage with fully opening front even if it’s more expensive each week in litter The doors after a month also became loose and our rats escaped a few timesVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not suitable for a ferret,
The platforms don't stay in place and keep collapsing. The attachment for the platforms are plastic pegs which do not hold in place. My poor ferret spent the whole day with water as his platform had collapsed and she wasn't able to reach her water. This cage isn't fit for purpose..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant Rat cage
Overall very happy with this cage. It is a bit fiddly to put together and it did take two of us to do so. Also we found a mallet really helped get everything fixed well once lined up. Our rats LOVE their new home, there is a lot of space for them to climb and run with plenty more for toys and beds. Our daughter has no problem getting them in and out of the cage and having the 6 different doors is really handy! Cleaning is easy, so easy in fact she is doing it without us asking her to now!
