It's not a light weight table but it breaks down where it is easy to handle and haul.
When I opened the box up I was surprised by the thickness of the steel. I didn't find the thickness mentioned in the description and was expecting something made probably from 14 guage or not over 12 guage material. Without measuring it appears to be 10 guage. I first thought the top was not really large enough either. However after getting it set up and with my rest setup and a rifle on it I found it adequate. It is very steady as the name implies and quite a bit better than any other portable bench I have ever used, commercial or home made. If 2" were added to the length and width of the table I would have rated it five stars. Last but not least, the seat is comfortable and there is plenty of adjustment if someone wishes to add a pad to the seat. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a very sturdy portable shooting bench that will probably last their lifetime if given reasonable care.
