More than expected
First time using one of these. I have used cut throats for a couple of years for my beard, but in the past year have started to shave my head with a simple cheap bic or throw away razor. Thought I would give this ago after watching a few videos on YouTube. I have to say slightly different to a normal razor but not like a cut throat I would say it's some where in between the two. Very easy to get the hang of and certainly would recommend. Quicker to use and doesn't clog up the same as a regular razor so a win win for me and I'm sure it will only get easier to use the more I use it. Nice little Razor doesn`t catch or snag skin
Like you, I thought Parker was a pen company but this company is a well respected Razor from India the butterfly design is probably the best design & is fairly light in use & easy to hold with wet hands. I always make a blanking plate of insulation tape so`s I know which side to use until its blunt then reverse the blade to use the other side This make is recommended on You tube as well so don`t just take my word for it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A high quality razor
Being fairly new to double edge safety razor shaving, this is an excellent purchase and helps to keep my full beard neat and presentable. Having recently cut myself when changing the razor blades using my 3 piece safety razor, I had no hesitation in getting this razor. Cuts galore
Bought this razor as I am fed up of paying silly money for fancy blades and these razor blades are so much cheaper. Firstly I must say the item is of very nice quality and well made but it's a long time since I used this style of razor so cut myself a few times which never seems to happen with " modern " razors. Having said that I remembered what a previous reviewer said about , " let the razor do the work" this seemed to work much better when I did , no more cuts ( may have just been luck) Hadn't shaved in quite a few days and was well into a short beard , this razor cleared it in super fast time , if I'd used my mac3 would have took forever continually clogging up and needing the blades cleaning but in the end did use it for some of the harder to get to areas like under nostrils. So in conclusion I will use this razor on a regular basis with a little help from the mac3 for the awkward areas but this will save a fortune in fancy blade costs as the expensive ones will need replacing far less.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Parker review
I had a 5 blade top range pack of 5 razors in my shopping basket and realised it cost the same amount of the rest of the groceries in my basket which included a bottle of wine. Took about 2 weeks to get used to it, I.e. a few nicks but very smooth shave. Buy a 5 pack of Wilkinson blades for 50p and change the blade weekly. Do the maths.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Parker Variant.
