  • Ideal amp for simple low power audio amplification with a small footprint.

Needed a Replacement amplifier for my class AB receiver amp that was serving as a PC audio monitor in a small home studio. The replacement needed to have a small footprint so noting the increasing number of D Class amplifiers (note D Class amps are not a digital amp as so often described in advertising literature) appearing on the marked, I decided to try one. It was delivered very promptly and looked to be well built. The size was perfect for my needs and it was put into service within hours. This amplifier is advertised as delivering 25-watt RMS into 8 ohms but was well short of the suggested output. It certainly did not match the amplifier it was replacing which was also rated as a 25-watt RMS output into 8 ohms. However, the output was more than adequate for my needs when driving two LINN Index 1 speakers. There was no identifiable distortion at any volume level when fed with music from a CD (Andrea Bocelli Si.) In fact, the quality of the output was very good. It ran very cool even after being used for many hours. Have yet to use the USB and SD inputs so cannot make comment. Did try the FM tuner but I which worked reasonable well but I doubt that I will use this feature much. This little amp is very good for amplifying an output from a PC, phone, tablet, phono pre-amp or similar devices when paired up with a reasonable set of speakers. It will never replace a Class A or AB HiFi amplifier, but for less than £60 you cannot complain . The only criticism is that poor legend marking on all potentiometer cannot be seen clearly in low light levels. If it stands the test of time, it certainly can be regarded as a good purchase.

  • Ample amplifier

I needed an amp for my cafe, this was ideal, bonus was I can play music from a bluetooth connection from my phone or a playlist on a usb stick or the built in FM receiver. Excellent!

  • Brilliant

The Bluetooth option is the best way for me to use it, so easy to use and setup.

  • Versatile small amplifier

I bought this amp. to drive an old pair of speakers from a Bluetooth link, which it does, but have found I use it more as an MP3 player from its USB drive or an SD card. Works well, although haven't used the FM tuner or analogue amplifier functions. Generally seems a good quality product and produces a reasonable level of hi-fi.
