Epsom salts, or magnesium sulphate baths,are an effective means of soothing sore muscles. You need to add around 2 big cupfuls or mugs to a running hot bath and soak for at least 20 minutes for maximum efficacy. it is not therefore cost effective to buy little tubs and bags,as you need a good amount to make it worth your while.
