Good, but not without flaws!
This phone holder seems to reasonable well designed and made. It comes supplied with a self adhesive rigid plastic disc to attach to your dash panel, which overcomes the issue of the suction cup staying affixed to your grain finished dash panel. The gell pad that is supposed to stick like a limpet to your phone....all that is certainly the case straight out of the box. Will it last? Only time will tell, but working really well on my Nokia Lumia 930, even with a textured clip on case cover. Now the not so good. The gell pad head plate is on a rather flimsy ball joint attachment, which has no way to tighten it. It's a pretty loose fit and allows the phone to be jogged out of position quite easily. Because the gell pad has such a good grip on my phone, this loose head plate doesn't give much resistance when trying to remove the phone from the gell's grip. I don't think it's going to be long before the gell head plate is going to pull off the phone holders rigid arm, with the gell head plate still attached to the phone. In summary - it's an okay phone holder. Others have criticism of the gell's gripping power....that I can assure you is not a problem, if you keep it clean. The ball joint which the gell head plate uses let's this phone holder down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lasts less than a week...
You start by turning the clip so the suction pad sticks onto your windscreen. Your phone then attaches to the green sticky surface, That lasts for two days then the first thing that happens is the clip begins to loosen as you drive and it falls away from the windscreen. You turn the clip again but from now on every time you drive over a bump it falls off. So you decide to use the circular adhesive pad next, which you stick to the windscreen. I then used my own superglue to stick the cradle arm pad to the adhesive pad so there is now no way it can fall away from the windscreen. Then the green adhesion on the cradle starts to fade. The phone falls off the green pad and very quickly it begins to fall off after every small bump in the road and even when you turn a corner. I didn't always manage to catch my phone as it flew past me. So you then tilt the arm up higher, so high you can no longer see the screen, but it still keeps on happening. This item has now become totally useless in less than five days. So you get a thin knife and peel the adhesive and all the residue off your windscreen, tidy it up so your car is back to how it was before you bought this item and then you throw the whole lot in the bin and realise you've been had over by buying a useless piece of junk.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks good but does not deliver
I was looking for the previous design, and on the photo I thought it was , and therefore paid the price. Having found it tricky to fit as the clamping lever does not leave a lot of space between the screen and the dash. The sticky pad is vey sticky to start with and it makes 'pulling' the phone off not simple, along with the fact that the extended arm transmits vibrations to the phone face. It is an average bit of kit that after one week seems to have lost its stickability as the phone fell off twice whilst driving yesterday.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

sticks like shit to a blanket
I read the reviews before buying this and was a bit apprehensive about the gel pad holding my phone properly and when it arrived in was pleasantly surprised, I stuck my phone to the gel pad and struggled to remove it it was that sticky and then popped the whole head off, so whoever has had this holder and struggled to stick there phone to it is doing something wrong like perhaps remove the label from the gel pad before using it that's all I could think of because this sticks like shit to a blanketVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product when stays in place
On first fixing to clean windscreen it kept falling off until I slightly wet the rubber that fixes to the screen, then I put the mbl on to the pad when the holder stayed on the windscreen, fell off once more this time with mbl after replacing all again it has stayed in place, very good product when it works.
