No lock down while still hot
Disappointing that it didn't have a lock unit to hold it close like my previous one bought about 5-6 years ago. Worst straighteners I've ever had
I know these are only £20 so won't break the bank but they are not even worth that. I was disappointed as they had good reviews.. They heat up fast but no way of knowing when right temp, it just has a switch for fine or thick hair. The plates catch and snag the hair horribly, it is not a smooth glide at all and it took me literally twice as long as usual to straighten my hair. You need a good 4 passes to get the hair straight (I do have thick hair but was on 230°) my old ones I used at only 210° and it was done in 10mins. These are horrible. It came a few hours after I ordered it. Omg. I ordered it at 8am and got it by 6pm on the same day! It really is "fast" & free!! I have curly, thick hair so it's hard to find a straightener that works for me and is cheap but this one is amazing!! My ends are smooth and pin straight!!!! On the first use I didn't use any heat protectant but the end result for my hair after using this straightener was still shiny and soft! This straightener is amazing! I don't know why I didn't discover it sooner😭 I recommend it rather than spending so much money on a ghd one when this one does the job perfectly. It's small too! Good for the cost
They felt a little light when i picked them up so wasnt expecting much. They heat up quickly with 2 heat settings, although they are on the slim side they do glide through my hair nicely and left it static free and silky looking after testing them without hair products. Not Good!
