A GOLDEN ADVENTURE OF EXCITING ENTERTAINMENT
A terrific fantasy adventure on bluray which is far superior to the dvd version with brighter colours and sharp definition.John Philip Law as Sinbad is pretty believable as the seafaring adventurer and Caroline Munro glamorous in her arabian costume.The fantasy creatures are brilliant stop motion-the figurehead that comes to life on Sinbad's ship,the homunculus demon,the good versus evil combatants the centaur and the griffin,and not forgetting the statue of Kali and the eight arms with swords moving all at the same time-fabulous stuff! Highly recommended viewing and definitely worth collecting for repeat viewing,and in many ways the early stop motion photography of Ray Harryhausen tops the c.g.i.of today's fantasy movies.
